Let’s discuss Nordic Approach to the European Green Deal

The Business Forum is organized with the aim to promote cooperation between Nordic investors in the Baltic region and engage in dialogue Nordic investors in Latvia, public institutions, and local suppliers.

By 2021 we have picked up topics on the European Green deal, Green Taxonomy, and Green Transition and its implications for Nordic investments and business development in Latvia and the Nordic-Baltic partnership.

Business Forum 2022 will focus on:
- Dialogue with the Nordic investors in Latvia, public institutions, local suppliers and entrepreneurs on the sustainability and innovation in the Real Estate & Construction industries.
- Discussion and long-term outlook on new materials, building structures and methods.
- Promote new design form that reduce the energy consumption and waste to reach the climate neutrality goals, regional stability and reduce the environmental impact and footprint.

Norwegian Embassy in Riga

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Riga was opened on 11 November 1991, with the Ambassador handing over his credentials to the president of Latvia. The embassy has two diplomats and a student trainee, as well as six local employees. The Defence Attaché in Stockholm is accredited to Latvia.

What is the Nordic-Baltic Business Forum?

The Nordic-Baltic Business Forum promotes cooperation between Nordic investors in Latvia, public institutions, and local partners and suppliers towards more sustainable, climate-neutral, environmentally friendly business conduct.
Hosted by four Nordic Chambers of Commerce in Latvia in cooperation with the Nordic Embassies and the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia for almost 10 years!

What are the differences between the event tickets?

We have ticket categories adopted to each event individually.
Business Forum 2022 has three categories:
*In-person participation for the members of the organizing Chambers - 30 EUR
*In-person participation for non-members - 45 EUR
*Online participation - free of charge

Where is the event held?

Business Forum is a presentation and panel discussion combination, followed by participant networking and can be held in different locations in Riga, Latvia. During past two years events have been held also online and you can review it.
